ACTS Community Development works to meet the needs of low-income communities in Brooklyn, New York.  We are a organization formed in 2002 by the Reverend Vince Fusco, his wife Susan Mirti-Fusco, and others connected with the New Jerusalem City Church, operating primarily through the Lighthouse Mission in Coney Island as well as Rachel’s Joy Maternity Home in Flatbush.  The Lighthouse Mission provides emergency food aid, after-school activities for children, and other services and referrals to help move families beyond the soup kitchen, while Rachel’s Joy provides shelter and assistance to homeless and abused women and young parents.  Please continue to either site for the information you need on us, our mission, and the facts on poverty and hunger in New York City.  Thanks for your interest and support
